This is the Wikia for the Kernel project, a rationalist hub in Manchester UK. This knowledge base is approximately half done, but lacking the standard wiki formatting and writing style.

What is in it for you?[]
If a significant reduction in your monthly living costs isn't enough already, if you joined the project you would get to live with a group of people serious about self-improvement, in a new location, with regular houseguests. You get to be an early adopter, watch and influence the project growing from very small to whatever size and structure we end up with (could be 50-100 people).
Due to the decentralised nature of this project, it is open to varying degrees to those who don't quite align with our goals; despite being an explicitly non-x-risk research project, a group that specialises in that could rent cheap offices nearby and have a symbiotic relationship with our project, providing jobs/capital in exchange for a talent pool and social support. Many other groups could also plug into the social infrastructure we are building.
If you as an individual or group want to lower your expenses, yet wish to be in a place with a high density of rationalists, this project can benefit you. This includes startups, non-profits, activists, effective altruists and digital nomads.
